The WAVE PE, or WAVE Perfect Extraction is a concept project for the production of mainly coffee with very high solid content for the freeze drying process. The coffee is cooked by vacuum which avoids the bitter taste that can occur when extracting high level of solids from beans. The process can also be used for tea as well as for fruits, herbs, spices or berries to produce drinks or powder. This project is still in conceptual phase and a new larger model is currently under development.
